The 30-second answer: is it worth going?

Go if you want to test and compare expensive or fit-sensitive products in person: strollers, car seats, baby carriers, feeding appliances, bottles, sleep products or large nursery items.

The official exhibitor list is already live and spans nine pages. Current examples include Britax, Maxi-Cosi, Silver Cross, Rian, Joie, Nuna, Inglesina, Daiichi, Soonsung in the stroller and car-seat area; Mother-K, Moyuum, Baby Brezza, Hegen, U-Pang, Haenim in feeding and sterilizing products; and Pognae, Hugpapa, Atti Air, I-Angel in baby carriers. The list can still change, so open the official exhibitor page before travelling.

Skip the trip if you need only one urgent consumable, already know the exact model you want, or cannot use Korean delivery and warranty service. A baby-fair price is not automatically the lowest online price.

Free entry: what foreign visitors should know

COBE says visitors can enter free after either advance registration or on-site registration. A purchased ticket is KRW 10,000.

Confirmed entry rules

Each adult must register separately. One account does not admit several adults.
Minors can enter free without registration.
One completed registration can be reused during all four event days.
Advance registrants receive or access an entry QR code or barcode and scan it at the entrance.
Follow the latest COBE instructions for how the code is provided (COBE app, KakaoTalk or text message).
Visitors who did not pre-register can complete a simple on-site registration and still enter free.

The overseas-number problem

The form currently uses Korean mobile prefixes such as 010, 011, 016, 017 and 019.
Postal code and detailed address fields are marked as required.
Short-term foreign visitors may find online registration difficult.
Do not assume a hotel address will be accepted.

This is an inference from the form design, not a separate promise from the organizer. Advance registration closes July 22, 2026.

If online registration does not work, ask the staff at the on-site registration desk.
COBE confirms that on-site registration is free, but it does not clearly state whether registration works without a Korean mobile number.
A KRW 10,000 ticket remains the confirmed fallback.

How to get there

From Seoul by subway

Take the Shinbundang Line to Gwanggyo Jungang (Ajou University) Station. Use Exit 4 and walk about 10 minutes to Suwon Convention Center. The venue says the ride from Gangnam Station to Gwanggyo Jungang takes about 35 minutes.

Express buses, local buses and Incheon Airport (secondary options)

From Seoul by express bus: The venue lists M5115 and M5121 from the Seoul Station area, and M5422 from Gangnam, to Gwanggyo Jungang·Ajou University Transfer Center. From there, walk about 10 minutes. Check a live map on the day because routes and intervals can change.

By local bus: The stop Suwon Convention Center · Lotte Outlet is about a three-minute walk from the venue. The official venue page lists routes including 5-4, 20, 32, 32-3, 32-4, 670, 720-3 and 999.

From Incheon Airport: The venue lists airport bus 8877 to the Gwanggyo/Suwon Convention Center area. Confirm the current timetable before relying on it.

Parking: use the venue’s current page, not an old screenshot

The Suwon Convention Center’s current parking page lists:

KRW 500 per 10 minutes;
KRW 10,000 daily maximum;
card payment only;
free exit within 20 minutes;
a 50% reduction for qualifying multi-child families with supporting documents.

COBE’s directions page currently displays a different parking fee table. Because the two official pages conflict, use the convention center’s current parking page and recheck it on the day. Large exhibitions can still create entrance queues or full sections even when parking is available.

Confirmed baby facilities

Suwon Convention Center lists a nursing room on the first floor near the lake-side entrance. Its posted hours are 09:00–18:00, and the venue says it is equipped for both feeding and diaper changing.

The complex also lists a 7-Eleven, cafés and restaurants. Bring the baby food, formula, bottles and urgent supplies you specifically need; do not assume the convenience store carries your preferred baby item.

What is actually useful to compare

Strollers

Push the stroller with one hand, turn in a tight space, fold it yourself and lift it as though you were using public transport. Check folded dimensions, weight, basket access and whether it fits your car trunk or apartment entrance.

Car seats

Bring your child’s height and weight and your exact car model. Ask about installation method, ISOFIX compatibility, recline, included inserts, warranty and installation support. Do not buy only because a seat is displayed as an event deal.

Baby carriers

Both caregivers should try the carrier when possible. Check waistband fit, shoulder pressure, newborn support, ventilation and how quickly the settings can be changed between adults.

Feeding appliances and bottles

Confirm voltage, plug type, cleaning method, replacement-part availability and warranty coverage. This matters especially if you may later move outside Korea.

Diapers and consumables

Check diaper type, recommended kg range, number of pieces and delivery conditions. A bulk deal is not useful if the size is wrong or you cannot carry it home.

Payment and COBE Pay

The official exhibitor list marks some booths as accepting COBE Pay and others as not accepting it. Do not assume one payment method works throughout the hall.

A better way to visit: compare first, buy second

Before the event

Choose no more than three priority categories. Open the official exhibitor list and save the booth names you care about. Record your child’s height and weight, your car model for car seats, and maximum folded dimensions for a stroller.

First walk through the hall

Test products and photograph model names, booth numbers and written quotations. Do not buy the first product simply because the booth is busy or a gift is offered.

Take a short break

Review your photos, compare the exact model online and remove any option that does not fit your real use case.

Return only to finalists

Before payment, confirm the exact model, included accessories, final price, delivery fee, delivery date, refund process and warranty in writing.

Promotions: read the conditions before planning around them

The official July event page currently lists multiple promotions. These can have registration deadlines, limited quantities, purchase conditions or Korean-only instructions.

Treat promotions as optional extras, not the main reason to travel. Use the official event page to verify the latest conditions.

Visiting while pregnant or with a baby

Use the confirmed first-floor nursing room rather than waiting until the baby is already upset.
Feed and change the baby before entering the busiest part of the hall.
Bring enough diapers, wipes, feeding supplies and water for the full trip.
Label your stroller with a name or phone number.
Keep the visit focused on a short priority list.
Consider a weekday or earlier visit if you want more time to test large products. This is practical advice, not a guaranteed crowd forecast.
Leave the hall for a break when the baby becomes overstimulated.

Frequently asked questions

Is this event near Suwon Station?

No. The July 23–26 event is at Suwon Convention Center in Gwanggyo. Suwon Messe near Suwon Station is a different venue used for other COBE dates.

Is admission really free?

Yes, after advance or on-site registration. A ticket purchased without registration is KRW 10,000.

Does every accompanying adult need to register?

Yes. Each adult registers separately. Minors can enter free without registration.

Can I visit on more than one day?

COBE’s FAQ says one registration can be reused throughout the four event days.

Is there a nursing and diaper-changing room?

Yes. The venue lists one on the first floor near the lake-side entrance, open 09:00–18:00.
