Seoul Children's Museum

Tickets and admission

General admission is 4,000 won for children aged 36 months and older and for adults. Children under 36 months enter free with accepted proof of age. Separate education programs may have their own fees.

Reservations and walk-in tickets

The official English entrance guide says 60% of individual tickets are sold by online reservation and 40% at the ticket office for each time slot. Reservations open two weeks ahead. Walk-in entry is not guaranteed when a slot sells out.

Best ages and what children can do

The hands-on exhibits are a practical fit for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary children. Children under 10 must enter and use the museum with an adult; children under 36 months require one adult for every two children.

Strollers, nursing and food breaks

The official facilities guide lists stroller storage behind the 1F ticket office and nursing rooms on the 2F and 3F. Stroller rental is not provided. Hot food and drinks that could cause burns are not allowed inside; confirm current meal-space rules before packing food.

Getting there and pairing the day

Use Children's Grand Park Station on Line 7, Exit 1; the official directions page estimates a five-minute walk. If weather and energy allow, continue into Children's Grand Park after the museum instead of adding another subway transfer.

What international families should know

The museum provides an English information site, but exhibit language and staff English support may vary. Complete the online reservation early and keep the Korean venue name, 서울상상나라, available for navigation or assistance.

Family facilities

Likely easier than outdoor historic sites because it is an indoor museum, but elevator access, stroller parking, and crowded weekend flow should be checked on the official site before visiting.
